I manage a pro shop and deal with a lot of beginner bowlers.I usual recommend the tornado bowling ball for them because it going to hook more than a house ball but still be very controllable and hit the pins harder than a plastic ball.Even if down the road they want a ball that hooks more they can still use this ball for dry lanes or shoot there spares.The tornado series include

I was getting ready to bowl in a pba tournament and new I could not use my mongoose wrist brace because it was not register with the pba. So I decided to try out the ebonite Ebonite Striker Left Handedand boy it work just like the mongoose at almost half the price.
